What is the dress code?

Business Casual.

Official dress is not required at Kansas HOSA events except for officers. Official dress IS required at the International Leadership Conference.

Do I need to prepare anything for the mock events?
-
No. Mental Health Promotion has been adapted to be completed on site for Fall and will give interested students a "jump-start" on preparation for the full event held at the Spring Conference.

The other three (Nursing Assisting, Sports Medicine, and Creative Problem Solving) may have some adaptations to fit Fall Conference such as no round one test but will be completed on site at Fall Conference.

Our school needs to leave early - is that ok?

We will be sad to miss you at our giveaways and awards, but understand that schedules may require schools to leave before the scheduled end time.

Also, please verify that students/schools registering for the Forensic Science Lab tour can be available all day. This is scheduled to take place in the afternoon.

Where do I provide dietary needs?
-
Meals for general attendees will be a conference card where $15 will be loaded on a card for use at meal vendors in the Union.

If an attendee is part of a catered meal, dietary restriction information will be gathered after registration closes.

For the one color design for the t-shirt contest, can we use more than one color for details?
-
Yes! Two colors like black and white to emphasize where shading should be or details is acceptable.

We will use the color photo as a reference to assist with the one color version as well. The one color version is so we can make sure we support the artist's vision in the final design.

Interested in an expo table?
We expect a minimum attendance of 375-400 student attendees. Tables will cost $100 – this will cover your table and lunch for two people. If you have additional people, lunches are $15. Invoices will be provided at the event and payment due by Friday, November 3rd.
We are thrilled to announce that we will have TWO expo opportunities at our Fall Leadership Conference. This will allow for more networking opportunities for our students!

- August 14, 2023: Registration opens AND Pin/shirt design contest information released
Registration cost is $30.

- September 15, 2023: Registration Closes (Firm deadline!)

- October 1, 2023: Affiliate with paid dues for chapter recognition
- October 4, 2023: Conference day!
