Information for the HOSA Helping Hands program is below.

Hello HOSA Advisors! 

 

The State Officer Team hopes your school year is going well. The 2025-2026 HOSA year is going to bring some updated opportunities. State Officer Kassidy Fox has developed HOSA Helping Hands, a program for chapters to gain recognition for service projects to the community. Your participation in this program can count for points towards the STARS Program. These projects can earn you recognition on social media and SLC.

Timeline: The project has to be done and pictures

submitted by February 28th at 11:59 p.m.

 

Criteria for HOSA Helping Hands:

• HOSA Advisor or HOSA Advisor approved adult present.

• Three chapter members minimum presenting

• Unlimited chapter members collaborating on the project.

• Minimum eight minutes for presentation.

• Eight photos are required.

• One fifteen-second video is required.

• Confirmation from the teacher that all students can be photographed. If not, ensure there are no pictures of students.

• All presenters need to fill out the KUMC Media Release or their face will be blurred out.

• Props are allowed.

• HOSA Logo has to be in your visual presentation (T-shirts, whiteboard, poster, sign,

slideshow, etc.)

• Submit photos and video(s) through the Google Form along with your school name and

chapter members who participated.

• HOSA Helping Hands can also count towards the Health Education event. Teams are

responsible for reading the HOSA guidelines for Health Education and ensuring they meet those expectations.
