The Chapter Leadership Workshop (CLW) is open to local chapter officers/leadership only who are affiliated as HOSA members for the current academic year.  Local Chapter Advisors are welcome to attend and will have a meeting with the State Advisor, can attend sessions, or will have access to a space to work during the day. This workshop is not open to non-HOSA members or to chapters who have not received their charter yet. The workshop is organized and led by the State Officer Team, State Officer Coordinator, and State Advisor.  

 

This workshop will typically occur in mid-September (typically a Tuesday around the 15th).  Registration will open in August. (These dates may shift later some years due to venue availability or overall calendar scheduling.) 

 

The dress code for this workshop is loose business casual.  Non-jean pants and polos/nice shirts are requested.  This workshop will have teambuilding activities so comfortable footwear is suggested and if skirts are worn, it is suggested they be below the knees due to these activities. 

 

The goal of this workshop is to help develop leadership skills, build organizational understanding, and develop a connection between local Chapter Officers and State Officers. This workshop will include team building activities, lecture based sessions, and other interactive ways of learning. 

 

Registration fees are set per conference to allow for the cheapest registration possible for members.  This conference is currently estimated to have an approximate $20-25 registration.

 

Lunch will be provided as part of the registration fee. HOSA swag items may be provided (or available to be won) at this event. 

 

Options and activities for this workshop can include dietary restrictions, late fee, potential clothing sizes, leadership role/title, etc. 

 

This workshop will not have competitive events.
